Biden, Japanese prime minister to talk hydrogen production cooperation during summit

When U.S. President Joe Biden hosts Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at a summit in Washington on April 10, renewable energy will be on the agenda. Nikkei Asia reported the two leaders plan to discuss joint efforts to promote hydrogen energy, enhance related supply chains and reduce costs to producers.

Commission approves €350 million

The European Commission has approved, under EU State aid rules, a €350 million German scheme to support the production of renewable hydrogen through the European Hydrogen Bank's “Auctions-as-a-Service” tool. The German measure is in line notably with the objectives of the REPowerEU Plan and the European Green Deal Industrial Plan. It will contribute to further reducing imports of Russian fossil fuels and fast forward the green transition.

Promotores do consórcio para a exportação de hidrogénio de Sines

O consórcio que juntava a Engie, a Shell, a Vopak e a Anthony Veder desistiu da ideia de produzir hidrogénio verde em Sines para exportação para Roterdão. Era um dos projetos de larga escala que nos últimos anos foram pensados para o município alentejano.
